Halloween

Sorry to take so long, but here are a few pics from all hallows eve. This was Colston's first ever go at Trick or Treating. He marched right up to our neighbor's doors and helped himself when they held the bowl to his level and invited him to take some. A week later I don't think he's eaten any of the candy, but he carried it around in his pumpkin for days afterwards. Good times.




We're starting a family vacation tomorrow, so I'm not sure how much I'll be posting.

Sneak Peek

Tonight Addy & Jen struck gold and found Addy's costume for Halloween/the Fall festivities (depending on your ideology).

Most 4 year old girls would want to be a princess, Dora or a ballerina.

My girl wanted to be an Emperor Penguin.

Addy Is 4!

Addy turned four on Monday and we had some friends and family over to celebrate with presents, water wars and good old dirt cake- complete with Gummy Worms (Addy's request). Here are some shots of the action.

Beating The Heat

You know that old saying that "It's great to have a friend that owns a __________." Usually that blank gets filled in with words like "truck", "boat", "big screen tv w/the NFL package", or "vacation home". Yesterday we found a new noun to complete that phrase- "giant inflatable waterpark".

The Bazer's are some of the most generous and hospitable folks that Jen and I know. They are constantly looking for opportunities to share what they have been given with others. That includes their inflatable waterpark- which consists of 2 different slides and a pool. With Monday's playgroup facing temperatures creeping towards triple digits, they decided to blow it up and let the kids get wet-n-wild.

In theory, Addy couldn't wait to tackle the water slide. In praxis, she isn't much of a daredevil.





But after a few runs, she found her groove and had a blast:
